The room in the eaves was small but thoughtfully furnished with everything you need and a few extras, such as the teapot and alarm clock. The decor was pretty and characterful - the view from the window waking up after a good night's sleep was fantastic. Breakfast was also lovely. The haddock was beautifully cooked and presentation of the hot and cold selection was first class. The ambience in the breakfast/dining room was elegant, white tablecloths, gorgeous ancient stained glass window. All food brought to the table by friendly and helpful staff. It is an elegant and cosy place with free parking at the rear. We only stayed one night but felt so welcome (even when we pressed the doorbell after a late evening walk and struggled with the front door key - my fault). Beaumaris by moonlight is magical - a very special place. Paula was jolly and kind when greeting us at the door. To summarise, we felt at home and spoiled. It is a gorgeous place and we look forward to another visit.

Stayed for 1 night to attend my fathers memorial service. Hazel was amazing from the get go, warm welcome, and very compassionate about the cirumstances. despite me arriving a little early for the 3pm check in she showed me to my room with no problem. Hazel even offered to take me to my next destination when she realised I had arrived by train and then bus to Beaumaris and said she even would have collected me from Bangor if she had known. Had a meal in the evening and it was perfection, all the food is locally sourced and is super fresh and beautifully cooked and presented. Nothing was too much for the staff. It's an old Georgian building and the rooms are cozy. The bed was super comfortable. Staff were attentive and helpful and I was even allowed to use the room after check out to freshen up for my onward journey. I am going to stay again, thank you for making a very difficult time a little easier. Give Ringo a belly rub from me x

I rarely get up to North Wales, but when I do, I am never disappointed. This is a lovely little hotel. My room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed, a TV I could watch without wearing glasses, a desk so I could get some work done, and the usual tea/coffee/biscuits. What was a pleasant addition, particularly given the price, was the complimentary sherry decanter and chocolate bars and the dressing gowns. I ate downstairs, choosing the less formal bar area, and it was easy to see why this hotel has maintained its AA rosette status for so long. The seafood platter was fresh with a beautifully dressed garnish. The beef bourguignon was perfectly cooked and flavoursome. The service was friendly and efficient. I look forward to my next visit.

I used this hotel as a place to stay for a weekend hike. The staff are full of lots of little suggestions to help make your stay better. For example, they arranged to store a plate of food for me when I phoned them at 8pm, as I was still on my hike. Had a sumptuous fish platter washed down with local beers that they have in their bar. The breakfast menu is extensive, and includes full Welsh breakfast, and options for more fussy eaters, but also wonderful traditional options such as haddock poached in milk. They have fresh croissants that they get from a local baker and serve hot from the oven. It's a really nice place to stay.

The owner of the hotel and the sous chef made a delicious top notch dinner, and we were so happy with our meal. The dinning room is very attractive and old school. Our room was nice and had a large bathroom which was great. We had a small window as it was on the top floor, but other than that we were pleased. The staff was very nice. Also the hotel is very convenient to the center of town, the water and an enjoyable walk up and down the boardwalk , and a fantastic nearby bakery just behind the hotel.
